Custom Role Mapping
Custom Role Mapping assigns Discord roles based on a member's Guild Wars 2 account data and their state on your Discord server. Where Guild Rank Mapping maps in-game guild ranks to roles, Custom Role Mapping works from any combination of conditions you define.
Available on request
Custom Role Mapping is set up by the Aleeva team on request, currently for bigger servers. Tell us on the support server what you want to achieve and we will build the mappings with you. We are actively working on making it available for everyone.
How it works
Each mapping is a condition plus the roles to grant when it matches. Aleeva evaluates the conditions per member and adds or removes the roles accordingly. Conditions can be combined, so a role can require several things at once.
Custom Role Mapping is based on the API key of each member, so members need to store their API key with Aleeva () for account-based conditions to apply.
When it runs
Aleeva re-evaluates a member's mappings when something relevant changes: when they join the server, when their Discord roles change, when their activity or nickname changes, when they add or switch an API key, when their account or guild data is refreshed, on WvW updates, and after commands that refresh kill proof data such as and .
