Notifications
Aleeva can post a range of automatic notifications into your Discord channels, from Guild Wars 2 news and dailies to guild logs and server audit events. They are all managed in one place.
How it works
Notifications are configured with the command (available to the server owner and Aleeva admins). Open the Notifications category and Aleeva walks you through adding a notification.
- Per channel. Each notification is bound to a channel. Aleeva posts through a webhook, so she needs the Manage Webhooks permission in that channel. The webhook appears as
Aleeva. - Add or remove. You can add new notifications and remove existing ones at any time from the same menu.
- Activate or deactivate. Every notification can be turned on or off individually, without removing it.
Notification types
When you add a notification, Aleeva asks which type to post. Each type has its own page:
- GW2 Release Notes. The official Guild Wars 2 release notes, in the language you choose.
- ArcDPS Release. A message whenever a new arcdps build is released.
- Project Release. New GitHub releases of a Guild Wars 2 related project.
- Guild Wars 2 Dailies. The daily achievements after each reset.
- Guild Wars 2 News. GW2 news articles, as an AI summary or the original text.
- Guild Wars Reforged Updates. Release notes for Guild Wars Reforged.
- Guild Wars 2 Bluesky Posts. Posts from the official Guild Wars 2 Bluesky account.
- Twitch Live Streams. A message when a Twitch streamer goes live, either the official Guild Wars 2 channel or one you pick.
- Guild Logs. Guild log (Guild History) changes, with selectable event types.
- Audit Notifications. Server moderation and audit events, grouped by member, channel and server.
- GW2 Event Calendar. Advance reminders and native Discord events from the Guild Wars 2 event calendar.
Custom sources
If extra sources have been set up for your server, they also appear in the list when you add a notification.
