Audit Notifications

Audit notifications keep you informed about important moderation and server events. When you add one, you first pick a category, then choose which events in that category Aleeva should report. You can select several events at once, and add separate notifications for different channels.

Add it from and open the Notifications category.

Wherever Discord records who performed an action, Aleeva includes that person in the notification. This needs the View Audit Log permission; without it the notification still arrives, just without the actor.

Member events

Everything that happens to the people on your server.

  • New member joined your server. Who joined, when, and their linked Guild Wars 2 account name if Aleeva knows one.
  • A member left your server. Who left and when. Kicks arrive through this event too, marked as a kick and carrying the moderator and the reason, so there is no separate kick option to enable.
  • A member gets banned from your server. Who was banned, when, plus the moderator and the ban reason.
  • A member gets unbanned from your server. Who was unbanned and when.
  • Role got added to member. Which member, and every role that was added in that change.
  • Role got removed from member. The same, for roles taken away.
  • A member changed their nickname. The member with both the old and the new nickname.

Channel events

  • A new channel got created. The channel and when it was created.
  • A channel got deleted. The name of the deleted channel and when it went.

Server events

Changes to the server's structure and to anything that can be used to get into it or post in it.

  • An invite link got created. The code and its link, the channel it points at, and its expiry and maximum uses.
  • An invite link got deleted. The code and the channel it belonged to.
  • New webhook got created. The webhook and the channel it was created for. Worth watching, since a webhook lets anyone holding its URL post into that channel.
  • Webhook got deleted. The webhook and the channel it was removed from.
  • Webhook got updated. The webhook and the channel it belongs to.
  • A role has new critical server permissions. Fires when a role ends up with any of Administrator, Ban Members, Kick Members, Manage Channels, Manage Permissions, Manage Roles, Manage Server, Manage Expressions or Manage Webhooks. The notification names the role, lists which of those permissions it now holds, says whether the role is managed by an integration, and gives the time of the change.
  • Scheduled events. One option covering the whole life of a Discord scheduled event. Creation reports the name, start time and location; updates report each field that changed with its old and new value; deletion reports the name.

Language

You choose the language Aleeva uses for the audit messages, independently of the rest of your server settings.
