Event Management
Aleeva provides an easy and fast way to manage your Guild Wars 2 events directly inside Discord. Members sign up with a button on the event message, and Aleeva takes care of roles, reserves, reminders and more.
Getting started
Create and manage events with the command. The whole flow runs in your direct messages with Aleeva. Use to see your upcoming events.
Managing events requires the Aleeva Events Admin or Aleeva Events Leader permission, which you assign under in the Permissions category. Until an event-leader role is set up, Aleeva offers to make you (the creator) the leader.
Features
The parts with more to configure have their own page:
- Creating an event. The guided questions, the time formats and every option you can change in the preview.
- Signup modes. How members join: simple sign up, profession selection, quick role buttons, or a ready-made managed squad. Also covers the reserve list and flex roles.
- Role sets. Reusable role compositions with slots, icons and order that define the roles for an event.
- DPS report integration. Link the leader's DPS reports to an event and post a summary when it completes.
- Dedicated channels. Give an event its own channel, or spin up dedicated text and voice channels while it runs.
- Discord events. Create and keep a native Discord scheduled event in sync with your Aleeva event.
- Settings. Every server-wide option and the defaults new events start with.
Reminders
Around 15 minutes before an event starts, Aleeva sends the leader the list of subscribers together with the in-game invite commands (/sqinvite or /invite) for everyone who has a linked Guild Wars 2 API key. Subscribers can also receive a "starts soon" message shortly before the event begins.
