The Guild Wars 2 News notification posts new GW2 news articles into your channel.

Add it from and open the Notifications category, then choose how it should look.

Posting mode

Aleeva can post news in one of two ways:

• AI Summary. A short, AI-generated summary of the article, labelled as generated under the text.
• Original Text. The article's own text, with no AI.

News is posted with the article image and up to around 1800 characters. The length and image are fixed and not configurable.

Language

Which languages you can pick depends on the posting mode.

Original Text reposts what ArenaNet wrote, so it is limited to the languages they publish in: English, German, French and Spanish. Premium changes nothing here.

AI Summary is generated rather than reposted, so it is not bound to that list:

• Included: English, German, French and Spanish.
• Premium Russian, Polish, Turkish, Portuguese (Brazil), Czech, Slovak, Italian and Serbian.

The eight additional languages exist only as an AI Summary. There is no Original Text in them, because ArenaNet does not publish the articles in those languages.
